With a vast knowledge of the music industry from live performance, composition and arranging, recording and producing, music publishing, promotion, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution as well as quantitative and qualitative market research, our senior management team provides decades of business experience to work for the company.

In addition to an experienced staff, the company seeks the advice of professionals with a wide range of expertise throughout many disciplines.

Kyle O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer

Kyle O’Brien is pleased to be joining the established and experienced executive team at Alzheimer’s Music Connect. Kyle’s previous experience includes executive positions with mobility software and telecommunications companies. He brings a breadth of general management, partnership development and operations experience to the team.

Most recently, Kyle was the CEO of Field2base, a mobility software company, where he spent 5 years with responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the company and building strategic partnerships, which allowed the company to scale its operations.

Prior to joining Field2Base, Kyle held a number of senior positions with AirTouch Communications; the world’s largest wireless company prior to its sale to Verizon/Vodaphone. At AirTouch, Kyle focused on international markets; while holding both business development and operational roles. His last assignment at AirTouch, prior to its sale, was Managing Director Asian Operations. After the sale of AirTouch, Kyle spent time with his young family and in private technology investing. Kyle is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University.

Ron Gregory, President & Founder

Ron Gregory began his career in 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland. Since then, Mr. Gregory has held a series of leadership positions during his music industry career, including local and regional positions for Warner Bros. Records as well as national and senior VP positions at Hammond Music Enterprises (Sony Music) and Elektra Entertainment (Time Warner Inc.). As president, Mr. Gregory played a key role in creating, and then leading, Music Forecasting, Inc.–the first company to provide market research exclusively customized to the needs of the music industry.

Through experience, Mr. Gregory has attained a wide and varied knowledge of the music industry. In addition to his thirty years of various executive promotion and marketing positions, Mr. Gregory has owned and operated an artist management and music publishing firm. He continues to work with the artist and music producer John Palumbo, who has recorded five consecutive number one international Dance songs with the artist Yoko Ono.

After 10 successful years, Mr. Gregory sold Music Forecasting, Inc. because he felt the need to explore new ventures outside of the entertainment industry. With his mother’s recent diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, Mr. Gregory began exploring possible therapies that might help her. This led to the creation of Alzheimer’s Music Connect whose products are designed to address the needs of Alzheimer’s Patients and Caregivers through music.

Since 1998, he has lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife Ardie. Ron is also a licensed pilot, avid motorcyclist, racecar driver, sailor and artist.

Dr. Charles Stier, Chief Operating Officer

Charles Stier was trained from the age of 13 as a classical clarinetist by some of the finest musicians in America and Europe, and with a Doctoral Degree in Performance from the University of Maryland, he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in 17 countries on three continents in such major venues as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Kennedy Center and Library of Congress in Washington, DC. He is also a renowned recording artist and producer, composer, painter, teacher, and author.

At the age of 42 he withdrew from performance and turned his insight and foresight toward the world of business. After working in several industries as salesman, sales manager, warehouse manager and operations director, Charles entered the auto industry. He built a “proof-of-concept” customer-friendly website for a small dealership, and several years later was Vice President of e-Commerce and Strategy for one of the largest Mid-Atlantic dealer groups, in charge of a website and creative content marketing team that combined and represented 28 brands and 45 dealerships, service departments, and customer service functions. He was an integral part of large contract negotiations, analysis and projection of trends, and partnership fulfillment with firms such as AOL and Cars.com.

At the age of 48, he created Cherry Valley Communications, Inc., a strategic business development firm that helps other companies to prepare themselves to move to the next level of success on the Internet.
He loves music, literature, travel, food, and above all, his wife and musical partner, Molly Stier. They live in Olney, Maryland.

Cheryl Khaner, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer

Since founding MarketBrandSell.com in 2008, Cheryl Khaner has helped clients achieve success with innovative, results-driven marketing strategies that provides efficient operations and build strong consumer brand loyalty. As the Head of Marketing, Sales & Public Relations of Cirque du Soleil / Vice President of Marketing & Promotion, RCA Music Group–BMG / National Marketing & Promotion Director, Columbia Records–Sony / Regional Marketing & Promotion Manager, Elektra Entertainment and Affiliate Relations Manager, MJI Broadcasting; Cheryl has extensive executive experience in all aspects of the music and entertainment industry.

In addition to her marketing and sales know-how, Cheryl was an associate attorney with the law firms Rosenberg & Estis, P.C / Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman, LLP.
Having graduated Magna Cum Laude from State University of New York at Albany with a B.A. – Communications, Cheryl then attended St. John’s University School of Law and was admitted to the Bar of the State of NY in 1987. Being perpetually curious, Cheryl has furthered her education with a New York University Advanced Integrated Marketing Techniques Certificate and Harvard University Digital Marketing and Social Media Certificate.

Cheryl’s interests include international travel and health and wellness vacations. But, her deep personal passion is for the care and placement of rescue dogs.
